The 2026-27 EFL Fixtures have been released and the pick of the fixtures in the opening week on 14, 15 and 16 August 2026 have been announced.

Championship

Relegated Wolverhampton Wanderers host Blackburn Rovers at Molineux on Friday 14 August 2026. The following day newly promoted Bolton Wanderers host Preston North End in an all Lancashire derby. Newly promoted Lincoln City travel to Middlesbrough on Saturday 15 August 2026. On Sunday 16 August 2026 relegated Burnley host West Ham United at Turf Moor.

League One

Newly promoted Notts County host relegated Leicester City at Meadow Lane. Relegated Oxford United host promoted MK Dons at the Kassam Stadium. Barnsley host newly promoted Bromley at Oakwell. Newly promoted Cambridge United host Wigan Athletic. Leyton Orient host relegated Sheffield Wednesday at Brisbane Road, with all games on Saturday 15 August 2026.

League Two

Newly promoted Rochdale start away at Newport County and York City host Bristol Rovers at home. Relegated Port Vale play their first game at Oldham Athletic. Rotherham United play away at Cheltenham Town in their opening match. Exeter City play away at Grimsby Town and Northampton Town host Swindon Town at Sixfields, with all games on Saturday 15 August 2026.
